If you think you may have applicable parts for the Raman build and wouldn’t mind lending or donating them to the cause, please let me know and let’s talk further. Lasers, beam splitters, polarizing filters, diffraction gratings, peltier/thermoelectric coolers, fiber optic cables and couplers… we’d like to know what our options are and what we can come up with. We’re off to a lucky start and have had an offer for a loan of a notch filter, which would cost several hundred to purchase and will let us compare to our planned high-pass/short-pass setup.
