Hey y’all sorry for all the machining posts. I am here right now trying to turn off the last two pieces for my project and I put the parting tool on and gently brought it in and immediately knew something was wrong by the feel of the tool to the workpiece. I backed it off, turned off the tool and noticed a chip. A pretty sizeable one at that.
When I came in I noticed there were some aluminum chips on the floor, not a huge mess but perhaps that individual could have done it?
I’m not ruling myself out, but I am pretty cautious with the cutters.
Do we have another one hiding somewhere?
