Bridgeprt training?

When is the next BP mill training?

I’ve scheduled it for Saturday the 29th, but I don’t think it has shown up on the calendar yet.

It’s on the calendar now! I just signed up!

I was asked a question via email that I think may be of more general interest, so I am going to answer it here.

Hi Walter! I just signed up for the Bridgeport mill class, and I see that it’s two sessions.
Do I need a separate $25 ticket for each session, or does one ticket service both events?

You only need one ticket for both sessions. The description for the class does mention this, but it is toward the bottom:

This class will be conducted in the Lecture Hall and will cover many aspects of the basic operation of the Bridgeport Mill. Its is a two part class, with the second part being a practical demonstration of basic drilling and milling operations on the Bridgeport Mill. The first part is a classroom introduction to safety and an introduction to the controls and basic knowledge necessary for the operation of the Bridgeport Mill.

The class has a $25 fee; however, scholarships are available. Please contact instructor at [email protected] with your request for a scholarship position in the class. Only one $25 ticket is needed for both classes; lecture and demonstration. You must bring your event brite ticket with you to attend the class.

Also for those interested, all class fees are being used by the machine shop to purchase tooling and perform maintenance.
