Bridgeport Mill Help

Howdy!
I was wondering if anyone certified on the Bridgeport could help me machine a 1/2” wide slot into a couple pieces of round tube (photo attached). I’ve used manual mills a decent amount at school but I haven’t had time to get certified at the space and am on a time crunch! It can be done without a 4th axis, the bevels won’t affect the design.

Thank you!

So, for clarification, all you care about is the slot … and you don’t care how it is oriented (rotationally) relative to the tube?

What material is the tube?

The center of the slot needs to be directly below the low point of the notch. I currently have a 1/2” hole that is at the center point of the proposed slot, so I just need to turn the existing 1/2” hole into a slot by milling it out with a 1/2” endmill 0.25” each way. This is hard to explain without being able to draw!

This is the existing part, it’s mild steel

How precise does it need to be?

Ended up getting it taken care of, thank you!
