OK, so I’m officially part of douche bag man bun culture. With curly hair, it seems like my only option for hair length longer than 1 inch south of just sporting the FRO.
So I now display my level 1 douche card and want to upgrade to level 2 Man Braids!!! Would anyone at DMS be up for helping me figure out how to braid my hair? I’m not talking corn rows or intricate braids. I’m thinking something like a French Plait braid. Here is a picture of how I’ve seen them online.
Braiding your own hair is different than braiding someone else’s. When doing your own, you’re really doing it upside down and a little backwards if not just flat out inside out because of the way you end up positioning your hands to reach the back of your own head. (FYI an inside out French braid is a Dutch braid and that’s what a lot of folks unknowingly end up doing especially if they learned braiding someone else’s hair.)
