Need some clarification on mtng time (Sun 7/16/2017).
Events Cal has listed as 3:00p.

There was some discussion on Discord about changing time from 3:00p to 12:00p.
Guessing time has been changed to 12:00p
It may be a separate topic, but why is discussion regarding BoD time change, or anything else of significant substance/impact/relevance, happening on Discord rather than here on Talk, which to my current understanding is the official (or is it “official”?) DMS discussion forum?
The discord works more like a hangout chat(except we can set it up for transparency) where the board can have a conversation that is 100% unnecessary for the rest of the membership to chime in on.
It’s not official but it was a reasonable solution for the people who thought they should have access to the digital communications of the board.
That said they should have posted the results of the conversation on the talk forum notifying everyone of the time change.

I guess I understand better that it is a chat service as opposed to a full blown discussion forum application. But it is not clear to me that topics and discussion more appropriate to Talk, assuming it is the officially supported platform for significant DMS related topics to be discussed, aren’t occurring there or other places like Google Hangouts.
To that end I’ve started a separate thread to get some clarity on just what Talk is to DMS at this point.
The official time of the Board of Directors meeting is at 1:00 pm 7.16.17. 13:00. I’ll go edit the wiki.
