Block printing basics

Hey hi hello.

I posted a block basics class a few days ago and haven’t had any sign ups yet. So I thought I’d put it out here so hopefully some people who might be interested can see.

Let me know!

What is block printing?

It’s an introduction to the printmaking area. In the class we draw whatever image you want on a small eraser and carve it out with carving tools and then use water based ink to print on paper.

Sometimes it helps to provide a direct link to a course. Hope this is right.

I’m interested in the class, but I’m out of town that day!

I’d love to take it, but it overlaps with another class I have. I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for the next one, thanks!

Hey Mikael and fellow creative souls!

I just had to drop a message to express my gratitude for the incredible Block Printing Basics course. Your energy, passion, and teaching skills made learning a blast, and I seriously feel like a whole new world of print has been opened before me.

Quick tip for anyone who loves getting hands-on with creativity: sign up for Mikael’s class ASAP! It’s a game-changer.

Now, onto my fellow print enthusiasts—help a buddy out! I went on a wild eraser hunt yesterday, thinking it would be a cakewalk. Spoiler alert: I ended up with just two peace symbol erasers. Who knew finding the perfect eraser would be an adventure?

Mikael, any secret tips on where to snag some budget-friendly erasers for my next epic printing project? I’m on a mission, and I know you’ve got the inside scoop.

Thanks again for being a great instructor. Can’t wait to hear your eraser wisdom, and let’s keep this creative party going!
