Best way to gift a membership?

I’m considering gifting somebody a membership for a month for the holidays. Is there a way to do this in the system at all?

Buy a prepaid debit/credit card for the amount of the membership. Otherwise the system will just keep charging your card.

Don’t forget that the person pretty much has to set up their own account, since they need a user name that they can remember, and ditto for a password.

I just want to add: I’ve been trying for a while now to “Makerify” this option by providing printable templates for gift card holders, but this kind of thing is NOT my jam, my time has been very tight, and so far no other kind soul has stepped up to fill that particular gap hint hint for anyone who does posses those skills…

This has been discussed many times by the BoD&O and may be discussed again, but so far, promo codes have been issued for specific purposes and events, but not “gifting”.
