I need five “top hat” U brackets that have an inside measurement of 2 1/2” for bolting fans on 2 1/2” sq tube at my marina. Something like this with different dimensions:

After lots of searching I’ve been unable to find any prefabricated. There are lots of 2” and 3” but nothing 2 1/2”. So what’s a maker to do?
Has anyone created a press brake for our press?
It would be pretty straightforward to forge these hot out of bar stock. 12 ga is 7/64”, while 11 ga is 1/8”. Both would be easy to bend in the post vice while hot. The jaws should handle the 2.5” U bend.
Start over long, Heat, bend to shape, cool, cut off excess, drill holes, pickle/media blast/sand to prep surface, powder coat.
