Bandsaw blade broken

I broke a bandsaw blade today. I went to the tool reporting page and the Jet bandsaw was already marked out of service. I do not feel comfortable changing the blade myself.

I am not sure why it broke I was trying to do a straight cut. Not sure what to do next or how to pay for new blade.

Throw the old blade in the trash/ scrap metal pile. If you’re not comfortable replacing the blade, don’t. Someone else will.

No need to pay, it’s a consumable, we buy a few every month.
