I tried “electrifying” a recumbent, but was unhappy with the way it handled. The motor has been used for a total of 34 miles. The only modification that has been done is a connector change to an Anderson connection. I’m including a USB programming cable to modify firmware, but I never used it myself. It was originally for use Oregon, where 1000W motors are street legal - I don’t know if it is legal to use in Texas on trails.
