This is a video I’ve been playing around with so that I could get a bit more practice with rigging, animation, and motion tracking. Everything (aside from the original video footage) was made in Blender 2.8 including the modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering, compositing, etc.

Super good job. Is the sunlight volumetric effect original video or part of composite?

I created the mist/fog. Honestly, it was more of an afterthought, added to make everything feel more coherent. I linked to the original video https://pixabay.com/videos/winter-river-nature-landscape-ice-30957/ and a couple other of my content sources in the YouTube description.
