Attention TIG Welder Users!

Attention all TIG welder users!

We have a new argon dual output flowmeter!

This regulator/flowmeter will operate a bit differently than the previous one.

It looks like this

The left side hose goes to the TIG welder itself.

When gas is flowing the ball will float in the tube at one of the marks indicating the level of CUBIC FEET PER HOUR(CFH) that gas is flowing at.

When the torch is not in use(gas is not flowing), the ball does not float. It will NOT be visible.

The right side is for a backpurge hose. We have not ordered one yet but will soon.

THIS side should not be used unless you are welding something that requires backpurge gas and you have a hose hooked up, etc.

If you walk by and see either side with the ball visible and it is not in use please shut off the gas!

Here is a picture of gas flowing.

To accurately measure the flow, use the middle of the ball as your marking point.

To recap.

Instructions are:

Stepping to the side of the regulator slowly turn on the valve on the gas bottle. Setup your welder as you would normally. To double check flow is where you want it, with the welder on, tap the foot pedal with the torch away from the table or the ground clamp. Gas will flow and you can double check this.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
