Hey guess what guys? We have an art show up on the walls. Seriously seriously seriously everyone pitched in big time tonight! Art was being hung up while walls were being painted while posters were being printed while the room was being cleaned it was a huge huge effort and tomorrow should be a wonderful celebration of community, art and happy. Props to everyone involved (I have a plan for you - but thats a different post)
I must apologize. I haven’t had as much time to communicate and it seems my planning ad implantation is one week behind schedule thus some things feel last minute. I also feel pulled in many directions so I might have been sort or bossy but we will recover.
Things for Friday:
- Anyone have *2 large black rectangular table cloths they could loan us for the night?
- Steven will be running in with labels - he will need assistance. Tell them what time to arrive to help you Steve.
- We need ice chests - *we have two buckets and one chest - need one more chest
*done Who wants to make and share photos of the night? - Anyone willing to volunteer to stay at the front and assist visitors to sign
- I’m going to be running in as fast as possible but I won’t hit the space till around 4:23ish
- Who wants to be the ice person? Always essential to a party.
- Who wants to bring the red solo cups? That’s a honor like no other.
Please invite friends and family to attend. We want to have you. We want them to be able to see what you do and make.
Things that need to happen before 6:
Label artwork with labels

Make labels for people who didn’t enter information on the website
Wipe down computers and straighten up computer tables in creative arts
Setup the interactive classroom for the pot luck - clean, organize, align tables
Assist Darrel and Krissy with setting up DJ equipment
Take the keg from the creative arts to the interactive classroom - put ice on it ASAP to get nice and cool
done Place paint/paint brushes out near the painting wall
- done Paint “paint on me” or something cool like that so people realize they should paint on the paint wall.
Make drinks
Get ice chests and fill them up with ice
Vacuums areas to make them look fresh
Take a look at the restrooms and get them in order, check toilet paper etc.
Dance and enjoy the night with friends
End of night
Take out trash
Sweep and clean floors
Be there around 5
