ART 29 project (feature YOUR art at the public library!)

Hello helpful volunteers and talented artists!

  • For the past few months we have been exhibiting various art pieces from DMS artists in the Dallas Public Library Fretz park location as part of their initiative to showcase local artists. There has been a fantastic response from the public and the library and lots of interest in DMS as a result.

  • There is a different theme each month and any material or medium is allowed, as long as the piece is not unwieldy to display in a glass-fronted cabinet. So far we have displayed woodworking, ceramics, resin, felt, and much more.

  • Once you deliver your project to DMS, we will take care of transporting, displaying, and returning your artwork in a timely manner.

  • If you are interested in helping spread the word about DMS and promoting your work by displaying it for one month at one of the Dallas Public Library’s 29 highly-trafficked locations, please leave a message below or PM me to be added to this project.

  • Once added, you will be notified of the upcoming themes for the month and asked if you have / can create any pieces relevant to the theme.

Thank you for your support!

Is there a ballpark on the preferred size limit? I have pieces as small as 5x7" and pieces as big as 30"x40".

I’d like to see a photo of the display methods employed.

Ditto. I have things, but I need dimensions of the case and an image of how it’s set up. All open vs. One side matters
