Even after all the (awesome) classes Adam taught last weekend, it looks like there is still interest in more classes.
I am creating this thread as a place for members to use to show their interest - since it will be easier to track on a thread dedicated to potential upcoming classes (vs as comments on other threads…).
@kobin I second this request, I’ve used vinyl cutters in the past working at a sign shop and could use the makerspace one but I prefer to follow the rules and make sure I’m certified 
I can donate a couple bucks for the time if @uglyknees or someone else can certify us soon. Cheers.
I certainly can’t and won’t make promises, but I will say that people who are known to be teaching classes (whether I’m interested in them, or not) might be the kind of people who would get actively notified of when classes are going to get posted, as opposed to just allowing them to appear on the calendar and hopefully grab a spot…
I don’t blame you… You have put a LOT of time into classes already lately.

As far as this thread is concerned, I was mostly just splitting the posts off into this new thread - so they wouldn’t get lost in “online vinyl class” thread that was posted earlier.
I’m guessing you are referring to calendar admins and/or honorarium admins? I’m not on either team, so I don’t know if they get notifications or not. I know the old calendar system notified us (I was on the calendar admin team with the old calendar); but, for some reason, I had it in my head that with the new one they just sort of checked the queue every day or so… Now you have me curious about it… hehehe…

Perhaps someone else who has used it a lot and is very familiar with the new cutter will want to step up and do some training soon… I haven’t poked around on it enough yet to be in consideration for that role… (yet). But yeah ~ The more the merrier!
I think he means that those who teach tend to talk to other instructors/teachers on classes that may be going on soon.
Yeah, I give a LOT of tours, and stress in every single one of them, that I don’t care what it is that you know something about, but that EVERYONE is smarter than me in at least one subject and therefore in my mind should teach a class!
I’m sure that there are 5-year-olds that are obsessed with dinosaurs. It’s been a LOT of years since I was in elementary school and we did that study on dinosaurs. I’m sure that even though dinosaurs have been dead for a long time (save the chickens) that we as a society have learned a lot about them since the early 80s. It might, or might not be worthy of honorarium, but I’ll bet that people would still find it entertaining and educational.
Adam it was nice to meet you in person on Thursday…I was hanging out in the Science area when you stopped by with a tour group. I’ll keep an eye out on the calendar when the next vinyl cutter class pops up
