Are there any iOS developers at DMS?

Is there anyone at DMS that’s familiar with iTunes connect and submitting apps for beta review? I have a build uploaded that expired June 19. I can’t seem to find any literature on how to resubmit the same the build and start testing again through Test Flight.

Thanks for any help.

Kent

In the past, we would simply change a small piece of the code, usually something that displays the VERSION number. We would change the version for the build upload, and upload as if it is a new version.

But Test Flight has become so flaky and unreliable for us that we try to NOT use it anymore. Today we simply send a group of test users the registration file and the install file along with instructions on how to copy them into iTunes and then install on their device direct.

If you need help using iTunes connect, just send an email to [email protected] and he can help you out.

Thanks David.

Can you tell me where I can find the registration and install file, along with the install steps?

Kent

It depends on the development tool you used to create the app. It should have options to compile an installation file and a config file for iOS. It should prompt you for a directory to save those compiled files to.

Then you simply copy them to your iTunes on your PC, connect your iOS device, click on the config file to run it and then on the install file. You do all this from inside iTunes.
