April Leatherworking Classes

We have several Intro to Leather classes, and No Sew Belt Pouch project classes coming up in April. Here’s a convenient list of classes, dates, and links to register. The Intro Classes are open for registration now, and the Project classes will open for registration tomorrow, Tuesday April 10.

Please note some of these times/dates overlap, so don’t sign up for two classes occurring at the same time!

Here is a finished example of the Belt Pouch we’ll be making.

Looks like chrome tan. Is the leather weight/thickness fairly substantial for the medieval belt bag? Will tooling be an option?

This is about a 5oz finished chrome tanned leather yes. I prefer finished leather because we can get a fully completed project done in the time we have.

Sadly, you cannot tool this leather.

HOWEVER, You can absolutely use this pattern on Veg-Tan leather, and tool it, then dye it.

Cool, thanks! I may Bring some 6 oz. veg tan belly to the class I’ll be attending to get the pattern cut out for a future project.

Please feel free to. I’m also going to link the vector file on the wiki or committee drive so you could also laser cut it directly on the veg tan if you like.

So many holes to punch.

More things need rivets.

Lacing isn’t cheating, it’s period.

Totally original design, just like the others.

Late Arrival Late Entry!

I don’t mind the color, but it needs to be WIDER at the mid, not narrower!
