I’m a fan of Apress (technical publisher) books - their titles, at least in my areas of interest, are generally very good.
They are doing a special now where all softcover and eBooks are $11.99. If you buy the softcover you get access to the corresponding eBook immediately.
I just picked up $220 (cover price) worth of books for less than $50 shipped.
If you’re not familiar with their titles then definitely check Amazon (or wherever) reviews before ordering. Note that during checkout is will say something about “printed to order” and “2-3 weeks” - mine shipped from Ingram books immediately and I got them in less than a week.
