There are a bunch of apartment options in Lewisville. I stayed in three different complexes off 121 business. I believe @RossD moved his girl friend into an apartment off of corporate in Lewisville. The apartments in that area should easily fit your budget and are less than 20 minutes from the space.
I am in the Country Square Aparments in Carrollton, Marsh/Belt Line area, and have been happy with them. The price range you have listed fits within their range, and I doubt you will find a larger apartment for the cost, in that area. The pet fee is $500, but supposedly fully refundable, and they will let you pay it out over a couple of payments.
You should at least take look in that general area, as there are quite a number of apartment complexes north of belt line on Marsh, and it puts you close to the makerspace, along with all of the amenities up and down belt line in Addison.
Also, when you move in, look into the service offered by Energy Ogre for your electricity, they have saved me a ton and a couple of friends a good chunk of cash every month.
Price is just slightly above what you mentioned, but I’m at the Estates at Vista Ridge (Vista ridge mall rd / Denton Tap) and they’ve been good to me so far… about to renew my lease actually.
