Asking here because Maker Space members are some of the most creative people around. I know two Calligraphy scripts; a basic Chancery and recently Uncial. They both come in handy especially when someone says, “Darned! I wish I had name tags for table places.” I thought I might learn a Chinese style script but not sure it will be as useful. So I’m open, anyone have a suggestion?

I assume you’re planning to hand pen these, and you’re NOT asking for a font?
Thanks for responding. I’m not looking for a computer font if I understand your question . I just wanted a suggestion for a font that people found to be useful. I thought about learning a Tolkien Elfin font but while it looks similar to English fonts it takes a minute to actually read. Kind of defeats the purpose I’d like to achieve. So I thought I’d ask if anyone uses a font that they found particularly good to know. I also considered learning CopperPlate but it is a bit fancy. Still if someone has found it good to know or some derivative, that’s what I’m after. Just a recommendation.
