I’ve actually helped someone reload an airbag once and reset the sensor and all that. We had to have a special clearance on ground shipping only since apparently those things have gun powder or some other combustible in them? idk it was a whole thing

Gunpowder doesn’t combust fast enough at atmospheric pressure for airbags. They are usually a blend sodium azide and other compounds designed to decompose very quickly at atmospheric pressure. Gunpowder is much safer, and likely easier to ship and handle at all phases of the life cycle than airbags.
