I am looking to find a local DFW design / manufacturing company that can take a prototype and build it in quantity. Can anybody recommend a solution? I prefer to stay local to Texas but willing to keep my options open. I would be interested in taking a look at it, but I have to go and kill myself over the fact that somebody raised $450K for a pancake printer.

Also, alibaba is the biggest global game in town for mass production (formerly known as the import-export bulletin board).
These folks may be a good resource as well.
