Antenna Down 123

Looks like one of the recent high wind weather events toppled the antenna. Kudos to Zach @zmetzing for modifying/welding the base. It survived and fell over as a complete unit. Ladder line appears to still be attached to tuner box. Thanks to @richmeyer for the notice and pict.

Need to schedule an “antenna day” - probably not this weekend.:cloud_with_lightning::cloud_with_lightning_and_rain:

Better just to wait for our conduit to the roof to be installed and set it up at the new location then.

Good point. I’ll let the AR SIG decide.
If no lines are damaged, it may be easy to get back up.

Also the weather station is down. Paging @Team_Science

Sorry I haven’t been up there as much and didn’t set up a meeting last month. Have been dealing with a lot of family drama. Would it be possible to throw that aluminum j-pole up and connect it directly to the coax of we don’t want to mess with putting the wire back up till after we get our new runs? Seems like it would be less wind load and might give the techs a chance to get on the air.
