Just seeing this post. Thanks for passing along, artg. Bob P was a gift to the world, and his loss will be felt for a long time. You could always see his signature humor in the app notes and datasheets he authored. They were immensely instructive and fun to read. How cool would it be to get to look over some of those prototypes?
As I recall the analog world lost Jim Williams first and Bob Pease died in car crash on his way back from the memorial service. The analog design world took a double hit.
