There will be an Amateur Radio Convention in Plano this coming weekend, June 8th-10th.
This year it has moved back to the Plano Convention Center, corner of Jupiter Road and Spring Creek Parkway. (Last year it was at the Arlington Convention Center).
You do not have to be an Amateur Radio Operator, or HAM, to attend. If you have any interest at all in electronics, then this is were you should be. There will be both an in-door and out-door Swap Meet area if you are looking for slightly used electronic, radio, computer, or just hobby parts of all kinds.
I will be set up in the out-door Swap Meet area on Saturday selling some of my personal equipment. Stop by for a chat. You will find me under the tent labeled “Southwest Swap Meet”.
