I just wanted to plug my class this Saturday which is after the 3D Fab committee meeting.
It will be in the hands-on class room so I have more space and I can use the TV’s.
I will be doing a more in depth 3D certification class, and will be showing you how to use some common CAD and 3D printing tools to prepare STL’s for printing. I will also show you how to use kisslicer and print on the Poly Printer.
It will be more of a how to problem solve using 3D printing. I’m not a CAD expert but I can show the basic modeling and modifying models in Sketchup, TinkerCAD, OpenSCAD, also using Netfabb to slice and repair STL’s. It’s a good class for any 3D printing novice that wants to have a primer class that’s more than the basic 30min cert class.
