Airborne dust collection

I have only noticed one airborne dust collector in the entire shop. If I understand the fire Marshall concern he/she is concerned about the amount of airborne dust. That should also be a health concern as well. Prior to invest $80k+ in new dust collection maybe we should investigate additional airborne filters. We could even adapt box fan with appling furnace filters to them, a much cheaper alternative if it works.

Awesome, but $80k+ is a lot of box fans!

There was 2 at one time in the woodshop. Not sure if that’s still the case or not.

The new dust collection system that is being looked at has an integrated air cleaner that has a much higher capacity than the current air filters in the shop.
