It works I was just playing with it. I do not know if the pressure set point can be changed, seems to keep the pressure between 2-5psi.
Could this be used as part of the large dehydrator?
you know I’m not quite sure on that, I was thinking more for our C02 incubator, (I THINK, I would have to look more into the specs). I might need to speak to the rest of science to see if we need it.

FYI, the air compressor is hooked up to an air dryer in the compressor room… so all the compressed air distributed all over DMS is already “dry”
@Brian_Eaton if no one else is interested, I would like it as a pre-stage for my air liquifyer.
Well…what if I bring it up and put it in the science area? If nobody ends up needing it then I’ll take it back and sell it on eBay.
I have two smaller ones as well, but I don’t know if the controller boards on them have working firmware

@Lampy, @Ebony_Jackson I have a last minute business trip this week and was unable to get up there this weekend with the air drier. I’ll shoot for next weekend and let you know of anything changes
If it is like the one that I saved from the scrap heap when decommissioning a satellite uplink system. There is a large canister of desiccant that has a limited lifespan and is not cheap to replace. Don’t expect to run this forever without some consumables being needed. The more air that is pulled through the canister the faster it will reach the maximum moisture it can extract.
At least some types of desicant can be replenished by placing in a dehydrator and drying it out. Or heating it to 220+ degrees for a few hours.
Good to know. Mine had been serviced and a new dryer cartridge installed shortly before the system was removed from service. I grabbed mine from the scrap pile thinking it might be useful someday for one of my projects…
