I had a in person encounter with Freddy, and I just wanted to say never have I miss judged a person by such a significant degree, seems like a really cool guy, and just wanted to take this time to apologize for what could have been arrogance, or stubbornness on my part but it was a very brash conclusion I came to which was 100% false

I know what you mean people’s online personality and their in person personality can be quite different.
There a couple people at DMS that I have had to avoid on talk but are perfectly pleasant to be around at the 'space.

Walter used to be the same way. He’d say the most scathing things, both on Talk and in person, but he’d be smiling at you and encouraging you to take it in stride in person.

Chris I appreciate the kind words. I also appreciate you being willing to accept the handshake. In our many previous interactions I held at least half the blame or more. Thanks for being willing to meet me in the middle.
Further, thanks for going out of your way to help me when you didn’t have to. It really warmed my heart that you took the time.

Funny thing is literally a single day after, I needed help lasering something and just walked to a random group of people and a guy said yea sure and turned out he needed help in the woodshop which is the majority of where I can be found when at the space, so he was super helpful helped me with mine we talked, I helped him with his, and just kinda piecing it together and just felt the universe wouldn’t do it any other way, I was like , this is just a hunch but your names pierce isn’t it(another person I’ve butted heads with) and he goes yea, and I told him who I was and we chatted for a good 20 mins more! Lol so I’m the Span of 2 days just simple meeting these guys in person has 1 completely changed how I felt and perceived them and their view points and 2 hopefully gained 2 cool people Run into and chat up at the space from time to time! But I was like after the Freddy thing there’s no way this super cool guy isn’t another person I had previous tension with! So very good last couple of days at the space

Pearce is super helpful and has probably done more for DMS than any other person. If you see him be nice, he is often doing something for DMS more than working on his own stuff.

No believe me I completely experienced that, I simply asked a random group of people hey can someone laser this for me I’ll pay you, and he not only walked me through it but spent time and effort to get it to look nice, but to make sure I was 1 learning along the way and 2 happy with the outcome, but there was reciprocity involved, I won’t say what just cause I’ll let him reveal them when they’re done but I helped him in the woodshop, so we not only each got help with something we needed but for me I gained a new found appreciation for him and what he does!
