Advise on cutting a computer case

I have a computer case that blocks the ports from the docking station. I am looking for some advise that can help me remove the extra material without damaging the integrity of the case.

It is not remotely clear (to me) what is being blocked here.

I THINK he means the orange plastic circled in green here is keeping the device from getting flush with his laptop:

Looks like USB-C? Maybe get a couple of short cables and not have to cut into the case. A Dremel would be the easiest way and a mill would be the precise way. I would get some cables if possible.

If it’s USB-C, try something like this:

Black FFC USB C 90 Degree Angled FPV Flat Slim Thin Ribbon FPC Cable USB Type-C 90 Degree to Standard USB A for sync and Charging (20CM)

If another connector type, just look for something similar. You can find 90 degree ribbon cable connectors for almost every connect type if you look around long enough.
