So I bought some beautiful clear glass horsehead bookends at a thrift store. Then I got to thinking, is there a way to add more glass inside? Like I was thinking it would cool in a rainbow spectrum?
You could probably fill them with marbles, or glass blobs.
Normal glass has a Coefficient of Expansion (COE) of 84 +/- 3. That means you canât fuse it, as glass COE needs to match perfectly or the fused piece cracks.
You might also paint them with glass enamels. I donât think that we have any available. Supplies like that arenât always available.

Vincent likes Colors for Earth, but they are pricier.

Thanks for the suggestions! I kind of figured it wasnât really possible to recite the glass but figured Iâd ask. Iâll probably just leave them as is.
Layers of colored resin should give u a coooool look
Thatâs a good idea!
