I took the ceramics orientation a couple of weeks ago, but I still don’t see anything in my active directory listing for ceramics. Do we not do active directory listings for ceramics, or do I need to nudge my instructor?
Edit: Wow! I’m behind the times, ignore my response!
ahem Yes, you should bump your teacher. There is an AD group for Ceramics 100, and you’re not in it. Mind you, that only makes a difference if you’re trying to take a class that has that as a prerequisite. A lot of the ceramics classes don’t bother.
Were you a registered student? The teacher may not have set the class up to assign the AD permissions. Or, they forgot to do the permissions and save them. I got caught the opposite way once. I did my attendance, and then I did my permissions and saved. Each one has to be saved separately. I discovered that when I was wondering where my honorarium was…
Thanks Beth, my info is apparently out of date, appreciate the heads up!
Oops, my mistake. I somehow thought marking attendance was sufficient, and forgot to ALSO mark the AD permissions. This has been fixed. Mea culpa.
An easy mistake to make, especially the first time. And easily fixed…
