Acme thread gage/single point threading tool

Does anyone know if we possess an acme thread gage. Or any single point threading tools for the same?

Not that I am aware of. We have just standard thread gauges.

Let me know if you find a good source of not-too-expensive acme inserts. I may want to try my hand at cutting stub acme threads.

Every one i’ve seen was expensive!

The single point internal cutters are in the $70 range. If you start talking about external, the holder is $100 and the insert at least 25.

We paid something like $70 for the Acme tap used to fix the lathe.
