[A/V] USB Cables for the XL1 and XL1s? OBS?

I’m at the space now and I’m curious if we have USB cables, and power supplies (not just chargers) for the Canon XL1 and XL1s in there. I see a rolling laptop bag with some odds and ends in the front but, since I don’t know if it’s a members or the committee’s, I don’t want to go rummaging through it.

Also, would it be possible to get Open Broadcaster Software installed on one of the machines at the work bench?

@DerpVader - Great suggestions! Are you open to join the committee? Or, I can come by, and we can chat a bit.

To answer your question. We are not there yet. We can ping Darryl, and see if it is okay to install OBS on the big machine. As far as the Canons, I have no idea of their status. We are looking at retiring them. Once the committee is up, we could possibly start raising some funds for updated gear.

Well, shoot. I was planning on heading up there in a bit after I finished with work on my motorcycle. Thanks.

Related to this, I found that it’s firewire on the cameras, not USB. Looking around, I’m planning on picking up an S-Video/Component to USB adapter for that purpose, since I don’t have firewire or expresscard on my laptop.
