A Note about classes for New Members

I think most of the other members understand how anxious you are to start using the toys that got you to join the space in the first place; however, there is something to remember.

  1. All classes are taught by volunteers who have other demands on their time
  2. Required classes to use any of the ‘special toys’ are regularly scheduled, so checking the calendar before asking isn’t a bad idea.
  3. Such classes are usually given at least once per month; however, since they are given by volunteers they can get delayed occasionally
  4. Sometime things break and delay the ability to give classes.
  5. Get familiar with the Calendar, since it is the primary way such classes are posted (not always on talk).

I know that the Haas is down, but before hand I was looking for the next class on it. I looked through the calendar a full year & didn’t see any other classes for it. I’m just keeping my eyes peeled like a kid on Christmas Eve. :smile: no hurry I just don’t want to miss the next one.
