Recently, several members remarked that a guide to what committee chairs do would be helpful with several committees getting close to new elections. So I wrote one. Thanks to @mrjimmy and a few others who provided some really great input on it and definitely made it better.
It’s not meant to cover every scenario, but rather to provide an overview, some explanation of the resources available, and some tips.
Just to be clear, this is not a rule set, nor is it policy (although it references both). It is a guide. I hope will be useful to people who are chairs or who might be thinking about becoming chairs.
