I had a go at scrubbing all three tables. There was some glue and also some tape that came off the counter high table pretty easily with a credit card.
I’m curious about a sewing machine and box that were under one of the tables. I moved to box to the outside edge and also the sewing machine towards the wall so that a chair would fit better. Is this someone’s personal stash or do we need a more permanent location for the two things?
Finally, there was a large box that looked to be either scraps or trash near the door. It wasn’t labeled, so I did do anything with it, but it’s in the way of the pay box. (And I’m starting to realize the pay box is important!)
A question - The trash needed to go out and it looked like the cleaning person didn’t come in because I was in there. Where are extra bags if I decide to finish the job next time?
Also, the place could use a really heavy-duty vacuuming, but when I plugged in the vacuum, it was pretty obvious that wasn’t going to be the machine to get the job done. Let me know if there’s another one I don’t know about.

Thanks!

If you have questions about things like that, sometimes it helps to include a picture…
@Robert_Davidson, is this something that can be addressed, or is it what we should expect?
Usually in the galley/snack room…
I believe the vacuum usually lives in the utility closet across from the Arts room…
Pictures would have been a good idea! And thanks for letting me know where to find trash bags. I’m not opposed to walking them out to the dumpster now and then.
Indeed, that’s the vacuum I tried. It wasn’t very successful. (Needs a full pulling apart and cleaning from the sound of it.)
I’m really not a neat freak, but working around the space a bit yesterday did let me get to know it better. I was glad for that.

I’m pretty sure @Kriskat30 knows who that sewing machine and box under the table belong to if its the same ones as the other night (if so, both belong to same person, and plans were in progress to connect with owner)
And thanks for tidying up!

Thank you for your time and your work. Kris is kindly taking some items to a member who left them at the space.
The box I’m sure was trash. Thanks for putting in the effort. A gentle reminder we ask for 15 minutes of communal work to everyone who works within makerspace. I don’t think that’s a whole lot to ask of people to make this system work well.
