A few good links

Came across a few links from some guys running their own web sites. I love these kinds of internet finds. They’re usually filled with great info because the person put effort into cataloging things.

This guys done some really cool machine restorations. @rlisbona Made me think of you.
And some really cool odds and ends here and here.

And this gentleman I came across while looking up surface grinder wheel balancers. Modest page but some interesting things he’s done.

And as a bonus, a great collection of he and his wife’s favorite recipes. This may be the best gem of them all.

And another late addition that I forgot about that I had found from a while back…

Interesting website. I looked through his baldor grinder rebuild and casting photoed. We need to figure out how to make a portable furnace for foundry work. I went to a cast iron casting demo at colin county community college 4-5 years ago. Would love to try that. When I got there I smelled bacon. Found a guy with about a 3’ diameter skillet frying bacon. He said he made the mold and cast it somewhere I think in kansas.
