I’m interested in making an 8.8L diesel engine. Was wondering if there is a Cummins engine that could be bored to 8.8L? I know there are other engines out there that could do this but I’m trying to keep it in the Dodge family and diesel. Also, I know there is an 8.9L diesel ISL engine but it’s too big to fit in the 2014 Dodge Charger project. Looking for helpful info or ideas to hit this goal. Thank you for reading
sounds like your project has no budget constraints so why not go for a Cummins 15 Litre straight six?
stock out of the box it is good for over 2K pound feet or torque.
granted at a hair over three thousand pounds, you may have to modify the suspension.
