I wanted to let people know about a great opportunity to take an intensive 5-day workshop with renowned jeweler Michael Boyd in Pueblo, CO from September 26th to the 30th. The workshop requires at least intermediate level silversmithing skills.
Michael Boyd is a nationally renowned jewelry designer, metalsmith, and lapidary artist. Using stone as his primary medium, Michael integrates metal into rock and enjoys finding creative ways to make this concept work in materials that range from simple river rock to gemstones combined with precious metals. The planned workshop is an opportunity for members to learn some of his lapidary and metalworking techniques. You can see some of his work at http://www.michaelboyd.com.
