Saw this today on Reddit. Homebrew smart watch, with 3d printed case, DIY circuit board. You could also DIY a leather watch band. Author has links to GitHub repository with code and BOM for the PCB.

That is a really cool project! That is the most thorough homemade smart watch I have seen so far. Very impressive lol.
