since it is going to take like 7 hours to print it wiht 80% or higher infill with some really high speeds even on the PolyPrinter, just buy something like this:

and print it yourself.

just pointing out that Polyprinter does printing, too, if noone steps up to do this:

Looks like $10.00 setup+ $15.00 per hour.
Also, I know they are not the only company in the metroplex to offer this service, but they are one of the bigger/more well known.

is @Comter Matt, who might be doing such commissions.

or this

:+1:

If you are willing to take it in PLA or PETG, contact me because I can do those at home. The creator said he printed his in PLA on the same printer, and PETG is almost as strong as ABS.

Www.3DHubs.com or www.Shapeways.com might be a better resource for you to try. DMS is more of a teaching and making workspace than a work-for-hire resource.

The above sites are both print-for-pay resources. The first one uses local people on their own machines (think Uber for 3D printing). The second is a national 3D printing for hire shop.

Will anyone be there on Wednesday this week to show me just how to start the piece like plug and play type deal?
Thanks
Turk

“I recommend not printing in PETG, as the part requires some flexibility and PETG will separate at the layer lines fairly readily.” (From the item description on Thingiverse.)

Looking at the part and some diagrams for a 300ZX, I’m not seeing how this part is installed and which side needs to be dimensionally accurate (as one of the sides is going to have some support that would need to be cleared away). Looks like you’d also need an O-ring (such as from here: Motorsport Auto - The Z Store - Factory O-Ring, Fuel Tank Sending Unit, 70-6/04* Z/ZX ) to finish installing this part.

I would be able to print this part for you for around $120. If you would be interested in this, please send me a private message on this forum. As others have pointed out, you may be better off getting your own filament and printing yourself, depending on how you value your time.

have you taken the 3D printer 101 class?

I’ll be there on Wednesday for teaching a class if you have that pre-requisite.

What time?

i should be there around 6:15.

Could you give me a quick description of how you look? I hopefully will be in the 3D printer room aorund 6:20 before my class at 6:30
