3d fab committee meeting 4/6/17

on april 6th at 4pm 3d fab committee had their meeting, in attendance were walter art and matt

Erin “Axeonos” Robertson was voted in unanimous as chairperson of 3d fab

the cabinet in 3d fab will be converted to RFID and the AD group of NinjaFlex and Resin will have access.

discussed further on getting a vacuum former.

also discussed getting a laser for curing the resin printings. this was turned down in favor of eyesight, further looking into will be needed

committee was adjourned at 4:30.

Here’s to another 6 months… Wait a minute XD

Oh ya, something I forgot to mention is that we need to stock mineral oil and 600-2000 grit sandpaper (maybe not on the sandpaper but wouldn’t hurt to get a box like the lathe has). These are used to sand and clean resin prints (the mineral oil removes sandpaper marks). I’ve been using this mineral oil and have been getting good results: http://amzn.to/2o31MC4
