Anyone interested in a 3D Systems Z-Printer 850? Maybe @Team_3D_Fab ? It’s a 3d printer that can print in color. The bed size is huge at 508 x 381 x 229 mm. There’s a guy at
www.ntsurplus.com who wants to get rid of it because it’s taking up too much space in his warehouse. Contact him thru the website if you’re interested… I don’t know exactly how much he wants for it.

Quick google tells me that A) the 3D Systems Z-Printer 850 is one of these things:
and 2) that bed size is 20" x 15" x 9".
And it is some sort of powder, that builds by ink jet tech with colored glue binding the next layer of powder together. Then the finished part seems to be recommended to be dipped, or dribbled in a proprietary CA glue to strengthen the part and enhance color.

Cost of consumables, materials, ease of maintenance and ease of use/training are the main things to hash out.
Powder containment is another special concern. We previously passed on another powder-based printer (the SinterIt Lisa)partly due to the lack of a good built-in part cleaning station.
