2016 Hackaday Prize Launched

The Hackaday Prize is a contest that is free to enter and pays out a combined purse of $300,000.

Round 1 starts today and is a design challenge. Submit your idea, drawing, and documentation for a chance to win $1,000 as one of the top 20 entries of the first round. Don’t put this off too long, round 1 ends April 25th.

There are 5 rounds of challenges and you can get all the details on the official hackaday prize page.

Here’s the official 2016 Hackaday Prize video which we are promoting at SXSW later today.

Hey @Brandon_Dunson - I’m interested in doing a Hackaday project. See Interdisciplinary project (Hackaday?).

@johntron, I’m not eligible to participate in the hackaday prize and involving me in your project in any way could do you more harm than good.
