Time to get the Cougar inspected, and once again, something’s hosed.
Getting code P0325: Knock sensor circuit (bank 1)
My google-fu has failed me. Any ideas?

Have any pinging at light load, high gear conditions?
Not that I’ve noticed. I did have a code “P0125: insufficient coolant temp for closed loop fuel control” briefly, that’s gone away
Can’t find one… found the cable, but can’t find the sensor itself
How’s coolant level?
Any loose connectors or connectors with surface “rust”?
Maybe that’s the issue? No permanently on check engine light?
Coolant level is good, and I don’t see any rust.
Fun fact about this car: when you turn on the AC, it resets ODBii… really fun since inspection is due in June. These codes stayed on for a while, then the AC glitch happened. Might try to survive the next few days with no AC to see what happens.
I was just reviewing the 2017 saga where you figured this out!
Not sure on the knock sensor thing…
