Someone left a mess at the Multicam. Would have cleaned up and then used but then a maskless dude showed up so I bolted.

Next time tell the dude to wear a mask or get out of the building. I have to do that at least once every time I come. I haven’t had any issues with someone complying (at least when they see me).
I’ve only had 1 person take the mask off when I would leave the room and the 3rd time I had to remind them, I made a major scene and he finally went to his car and sat in there to wait. He wasn’t even making anything. 
No one should be inside the building without wearing a mask (and wearing it properly). Remind them nicely and if they don’t immediately comply, remind them they can lose their membership if they don’t adhere to the rules. Then go through the official process if needed.

I did. And nicely but perhaps in a way that shamed him a bit. I peeled open the top of my shirt, showed off my fancy heart surgery scar and told him I “can’t be around this” (sort of waving in his direction). He seemed sufficiently chastised and ran off to find a proper mask. He didn’t protest at all.

It has been shocking how many people I’ve had to remind even though we have posters to remind them literally everywhere. 
I have no problem being the b*tch because this is a serious health issue. Plus… I’m a stickler for rules that deal with safety issues. 
The two areas that had been plastered were sanded. The endmill put away. The person’s trash was deposited in a can1. The machine ran well. The mess has been cleaned. The trash was taken to the dumpster.

1 For fuck’s sake. The trash was left on the floor less than 15 feet from a can. It would have taken the same effort to dispose of it.
Thanks, sorry you ended up with clean-up duty, not for the first time. Like I said - I’d have cleaned it up and used the machine but I was just a bit wigged out and decided that the day wasn’t going to get any better if I stuck around. Mask guy seemed like his intention was to hang out and wait for me to finish and I wasn’t in the mood.
