In a mere 4 days, we’ve built momentum!

Would like to thank the 10X10 Team for stepping up so quickly: Mark for all around support, prize donation, and cutting the courtesy bases; Bert for supplying the plywood; Steven for offering to deliver the plywood (though we didn’t need the assist); Nicole for digging up instructions, posters, signups from previous shows; John Gorman for volunteering to make the display labels again; Tom Tansey for investigating a hanging system upgrade; Stan Simmons for entertaining the possibility of additional outlets for powered items; and Kris (president) + Steve (chair, PR) + Roger (chair, CA) for input and support. (Roger says the show would be soooo much better with more Star Wars, hint, hint.)

Thank you to everyone I approached to enter the show early, whether you said yay or nay.
You are making it easier for us to plan the layout.
And it’s so much more fun to be able to say to the general membership…Come join the fun with your fellow makers!

If we can get some 240 for the big kiln, I’ll be happy to get a fused glass 10x 10 class scedualed. Perhaps soon we can roll it next door to use the power?

Good job, Jeannie! I forgot about the FB groups.

“Courtesy (free) 10x10 half-inch plywood bases available to those who do sign up in advance.”

Signing up is optional, but it makes it easier for “Team 10X10” to plan.
Poster contains instructions on how to sign up with me.
Because we are not charging for the panels, we only want to hand them out to people who commit.
An inducement.
We’re having the panels cut as needed. First run is almost gone!

Is the no suggestive imagery a new rule? We have had light nudity before right?

I had the same question regarding the definition of ‘suggestive’.

Georgia O’Keefe is ‘suggestive

A banana is suggestive

…Depending upon one’s perspective of course.
