Think there is only one sheet of 3/4 left.

I’m new and don’t know a lot of folks ot the history of all of this back and forth, but I’d throw my hat in to volunteer as a judge.

For reference, the 10x10 are all the pieces of artwork hanging in the hall between galley/woodshop/lecture hall. Each member is given a 10” x 10” and can create whatever they want.

Umm, unless I’m extremely bad at estimating size, aren’t those ‘10x10’ in that hallway more like 10in x 10 in?? Asking for clarification so I can start day dreaming about what I might do for a 10x10 show

You’re correct, they’re 10 inch by 10 inch. I was having a bit of fun

it was a typo, its 10m X 10m

Also wanted to add, they don’t have to be on wood. We have taken glass 10x10’s before, pretty much any material works as long as it’s light enough for the wall or lobby display case.

For additional clarity for those who are considering a piece. It’s 10x10 inches, but the 3rd dimension has historically been 4 inches max for those who don’t do flat crafts. I was allowed to put my green sphere in the glass display case last year.

Sorry for the delay…I’m hibernating

Here is a copy of the old “rules” I’m sure I have more because I can’t imagine me being ok with this font choice. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-9lwxsfTaRgbjZRUVFrVU1uREE/view?usp=sharing
I also have the template for the “old” labels, lists of people who have participated in the past if you want.

Let me know if you need anything else or would like to bounce ideas…but remember I approach things like a pirate.

For context, the 4” depth limit is to keep the 10x10 entries from jutting out from the walls too much, getting caught on people’s clothes as they walk by, posing egress issues, etc. As Lordrook mentions, there are lighted glass cases at DMS for any 10x10 entries that do not meet the 4” depth constraint.

Any pointers to where the plywood is?

Paging @PearceDunlap

Thanks! I sent him a couple of messages with pictures to try and figure out which wood it is

The only thing I’ve seen that looks like full sheets of cabinet grade would be these:

I was “gifted” (or hey take this for 10x10) two boxes of display wood squares from the leather sale from @HankCowdog they aren’t 10” perfectly but they could be interesting to use in addition to the 10x10.
Where can I drop them off for you?

I’ll get some pictures.
